Buddy Perstrope came to Hampton First Baptist in 2002.  He is originally from Arnold, Missouri and has been in the ministry for over 15 years.  He has a Bachelor's Degree in Church Ministries from Crichton College, Masters of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees both from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, TN.

Buddy and Juli have four charming boys - Luke, Joel, Micah, and Joshua. See their family picture.

Buddy's ministry highlights include baptizing three of his sons, being a children's minister, short term missionary in Alaska, planning mission trips and doing what he loves to do - preach!
